No último domingo, os melhores da televisão americana foram homenageados no 5º Critics' Choice Television Awards. O prêmio, organizado pela Assosiação de Jornalistas especializados em Televisão (BTJA), foi criado em 2011 e desde então se destaca pela variação dos indicados e dos vencedores. Este ano, não foi diferente, já que os grandes vencedores foram os novos projetos. Das emissoras, a HBO levou para casa um total de sete prêmios, seguida da FX, com quatro. Amazon, AMC, Comedy Central e Fox seguiram no encalço, com duas estatuetas cada. E as séries novatas ficaram no topo das mais reconhecidas, com Silicon Valley, The Americans, Olive Kitteridge, Better Call Saul e Transparent ganhando destaque.
