Unsure of which legend or folk tale this story represents, but it's quite intriguing so far and unlike anything before.
Noomi Rapace's role is unparalleled in her performance in this film, unlike any other I've seen prior to this. The premise of the story is very different than I could have imagined in the way they've accomplished it, and it's a rather horrorific and juicy spectacle for the eyes.
There is so much to learn from so many viewpoints and the constant feeling of how long you can make this one last. I had no idea that Alice Englert was in this film, and her role allowed her the most life yet experienced in the film.

Não o classifico como terror, mas sim uma drama com características de terror, então quem procura por um terror pule esse filme, quem gostou de filmes como Sob a Pele( Scarlett Johansson) vai curtir. É um filme bom, acima da média, mas nada espetacular, você quer saber oq acontece com a personagem e o universo das bruxas. Ponto alto é o elenco.
Um filme de terror para quem não gosta muito, ou nem um pouco, de filmes de terror uma vez que as cenas características desse tipo de produção, com violência, corpos abertos e sangue escorrendo, são apenas pontuais. Uma bruxa na Macedônia, século XIX, mantida isolada até os seus 16 anos, sai em busca de entendimento acerca de pessoas e lugares. A maldade é totalmente substituída pela curiosidade e se em sua busca comete atos que nos parecem reprováveis, isso acontece em prol exclusivamente da aquisição do conhecimento. Possui o poder de se apossar do corpo de outras pessoas e quando o faz mantém a personalidade original que acompanhamos através de seus pensamentos.
